San Jac numbers among nation\u2019s top community colleges<\/span><\/h3>\n

San Jacinto College has been named a Top 200 community college in the nation by the Aspen Institute, a prestigious honor that highlights the College\u2019s strong student success and outcomes.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

This national ranking honors San Jac\u2019s commitment to academic excellence, equitable support services, and measurable results that help students complete credentials and advance their careers.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

SJC AlertMe app keeps College community connected, safe<\/span><\/h3>\n

San Jacinto College has launched SJC AlertMe, a free mobile app to keep students, employees, and community members informed and safe.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Available in the Apple App Store and Google Play, the app provides instant alerts about severe weather, campus closures, and emergencies across all San Jac locations.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Besides timely notifications, SJC AlertMe offers practical tools, such as reporting safety concerns, accessing emergency plans and campus maps, and receiving important updates even without internet access.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Families can also use features that allow students to check in or share their location when traveling to and from campus. SJC AlertMe is designed with privacy in mind: All optional features are opt-in, and users remain in full control of their personal settings and notifications.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

San Jac is committed to serving its community with both educational opportunities and a safe, welcoming environment.
